Sriracha Salt

Besides the fact that I don't really know how to say "Sriracha" - I'm obsessed with it.  Now, just yesterday, a friend gifted me a bottle of homemade Sriracha Salt.  WHAT!?!?!?  That was my reaction. Just the smell of it made me do a happy dance in my kitchen (no really, there's evidence of said dance on my iPhone).  She used this recipe, which looks simple enough!  If you're a fan of the spicy condiment, you should probably make a big batch of this salt and put it on everything.  I sprinkled it on my salad last night, DELISH.  Can you imagine a margarita with this stuff rimming the glass?!?  I feel another happy dance coming on... I've gotta go.

Thank you for the feedback on my new site design!  I'm sort of sick of the "label" section (do you use it?) and I'm trying to brainstorm some new organizational elements.  Ideas are welcome : )

Sweet baby Jesus. Salt made out of Rooster Sauce. This is what Heaven must be like.

Sriracha is impossible to pronounce, and everyone sounds like an idiot trying. Like Ty, I call it Rooster! Regardless, it is sauce from the heaven's and this sounds like an incredible way to consume it. Thanks for sharing!

OH MY GOD. Margarita sriracha salt? Hell yeah. Ooooh or a bloody mary!!!!!

Maybe in some hot and sour soup? Ooooh the possibilities!

I love the label section, but I'm obsessed with that font thing lately where the more important things are bigger. I don't even know the actual name for it. Is there a name for it?

Anyway, what if you changed it to a pull down menu instead?

Yum on the salt. As for the label section, I like it but seriously (siriously?) didn't notice it until the redesign. Clicked it yesterday on "fish" and got to melting tomatoes which I thought was a mistake then saw it went over fish!

Ooooh. I might have to make this for my husband for Father's Day. It should go nicely with his repeat from last year gift, a chili pepper plant. As for the label section, to be honest, I don't use it. I just use the search bar. But I'm lazy so I might not be a good judge of these things. Hope you have a happy Mother's Day!

I do like the labels section. Then when I have chicken in my fridge, I say to myself...what would Siri do with chicken? Just have one click and instant ideas!
