BREAKING NEWS: I was just told by Carson that this is the best dessert, ever.
During my son's nap today, I exercised and then I made a coffee cake. Sing it... one of these things is not like the other. (Also, when I got back from "working out" Carson asked me if I forgot something. That should give you some indication of how long I was gone.) In my ROCKIN' BODY'S DEFENSE, I gave the cake away. After eating a piece(s).
It was delicious. I found the recipe over at The Pioneer Woman, and if you're unfamiliar with her stuff... don't be. I added a ripe banana to the batter and some toffee pieces to the crumble. Did it probably need that? No. Did it add to the deliciousness? I mean, why don't you make it and tell me...

where do you buy toffee pieces? i don't think i've ever seen them at the grocery store.
