Well, two long weeks went by and now we have pickles! Real pickles! Carson and I sort of feel like we've performed magic. Transforming a vegetable into a crispy snack seems unworldly, mysterious, mind-boggling. Does it to you? No? Well who asked for your opinion.

I've always wanted to make pickles! These look crispy, salty, and delicious. Your post reminded me of a conversation I had with a friend years ago who didn't believe me when I told him pickles were cucumbers. And we all asked him how he thought pickles came about, pickle trees? Haha. I agree, they're a bit mysterious.
