How was your 4th? Mine was splendid, and I am exhausted. Spent. POOPED. We had some friends and family over and there were kids, music, food, sun and did I mention kids? Wow, kids don't stop. I took the day off from coming up with fun recipes and turned to market tubs of potato salad and cupcakes from a box (above). Delicious all the same. My mom made these...

I am no longer embarrassed to admit that I ate THREE of those cupcakes. I was in such a sugar coma when I left that I forgot my cardigan, yeah, that is what I will blame it on. Wheelbarrow. Wheelbarrel.
