One of my favorite things to do on a weekend morning is drink coffee, page through a new Bon Appetit magazine, all the while plugging my 9-week old with a pacifier. What, I need a moment. It was during one of those moments that I came across this recipe. I have no idea who Anna is, but she was probably French. "Pommes" means "potatoes" in French, right? Yup, I took it all through high school, I remember thing(s). Well, whoever she is, these are delightful. Easy to make, especially if you have a mandoline, but impressive enough to serve at a dinner party. Not to mention you can make most of it ahead of time. My son loved to peel through each crispy layer and so did I.

YUM. I want to make these. I like anything that involves a crispy potato,
These look so good! I definitely want to try them! I LOVE potatoes al gratin, but these look better and of course less cheesy!
These look very fancy, but seem pretty easy! So cool to make them in the muffin tin!
Like I said a million times, grab the LO's, C and head to Paris where you can spend a semester at Cordon Bleu where you belong. I'll make sure the expat foodies all get to meet you :)
