Egg yolks and sugar and lemon zest and lemon juice and butter...
Slowly heated over a double boiler, put in the fridge to thicken and cool...
Mmm, lemon curdy. To Be Continued...

My friend who has a blog called "The Lushers" just made this! She said that she had a fit with her double boiler because she didn't have a metal bowl, only pyrex and the lemon curd wouldn't reach the 180 degree temp!
I made this for some lemon meringue cupcakes and I plan on making it again for some strawberry shortcake. Lemon curd is the new sea salt!
Yum something to do with my lemons !!! Next post please !!!
