I love cleaning out my fridge and coming up with a meal when at first glance I think I have nothing to work with. Tonight, I made this pea pesto, sautéed a bunch of vegetables in a little olive oil with garlic, basil and red pepper flakes, made some whole wheat rotini and tossed it all together... even my 3 year-old (yup he's 3 in two weeks) ate it up (well, minus some of the vegetables). Success!
Pea pesto...never tried it...I'm intrigued. Gonna make this tonight!
