Sauteed Mushrooms

I could demolish a bowl of many things. Mac & Cheese, Brownie Pudding, Bacon Soup (if that's not a thing it should be) and now, these Sauteed Mushrooms. Soy, lemon and sugar - a perfect balance. Bright, caramelized and tangy. Did I mention garlic and butter? MAKE THESE. If you're not a mushroom lover, you might become one. Recipe HERE.

Soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar... whisked together. Chopped garlic, butter...

Browned mushrooms in olive oil, add butter and garlic...

Add soy mixture, saute until sugar caramelizes every last bite...

I served this with a traditional Meatloaf recipe that I LOVE, a signature dish of my friend Katy's mom. Recipe HERE.

  2. Haha someone's on a mushroom kick! These look like a super yummy side...although I'm sure I'd be satisfied with a heaping full bowl of these babies by themselves!

  3. Yum! I love just plain sauteed mushrooms. I usually use a mixture of crimini and portabellas...
