Nutella Stuffed Cookies

Can we all agree to never let me buy Nutella again? First I make Chocolate Hazelnut Stuffed Bagels with Cream Cheese Frosting. Then I eat it with a spoon when no one is looking. And now, these. Nutella Stuffed Cookies. Thank god the jar is almost gone. I'm afraid to find out what I would do with it next. A mask for my face, perhaps? I hereby ban myself from the aisle at the grocery store where Nutella lives.

Nutella Stuffed Cookies
(Makes 20 cookies)

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temp
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 jar Nutella (1 tsp per cookie)

Preheat oven to 375. With a mixer, cream together butter and both sugars. Add eggs, one at a time. Then vanilla, and mix until smooth. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, salt and baking powder. Add to dough and combine.

On a baking sheet, place large spoonful of dough. Using fingers, create a well in each cookie. Add about 1 tsp of Nutella to each (roughly the amount that fits in a baby spoon, if you have babies).

Again using your fingers, close the well by folding the sides of the cookie together. Make sure the seam is smooth so that no Nutella escapes during baking.

Bake for 8-10 minutes.
