A small taste of what I ate
last night. Oy. I'm still full and yes I ate two pieces of buttery toast this morning WHY?!
So I need some help. I need you to give me some ideas for future recipes. I'm having a brain fart. All I have on my To Do List is Kale Chips.
Need. More. Ideas. Help. Yes. You.
How's about some Dutch desserts for us Dutch girls? My Oma has given me a bunch of recipes but they are all for dinners. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'd like you to make a good fall soup, some kind of roasted meat (like a roasted beef tenderloin or something) and a killer dessert. I need some fresh ideas with the seasons changing.
ReplyDeleteI propose Butternut Squash and Sage Lasagna http://www.marthastewart.com/recipe/butternut-squash-and-sage-lasagna
ReplyDeleteOR one of these mac and cheese recipes http://annies-eats.com/2009/05/08/baked-mac-and-cheese-comparison/
FALAFEL! Some kind of crazy homemade mac. Quiche. Tom Yum Goong Soup. A crumble or fall cobbler? Mmm...I'm hungry. And salivating over your Italian feast. Are we still on for Monday? xo

ReplyDeleteRainbow cupcakes!! Or double rainbow cupcakes if you are familiar with the popular you tube video...either way they are amazing! http://everydayfoodchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/09/best-cupcakes-ever.html
ReplyDeleteI'm with Katy on some fall cobblers. In fact, I'm searching the internet for a good one right now. I need you. Maybe some pumpkin dishes? Dinner salads? Some cast iron skillet creations?
ReplyDeleteI came to your spot to find a squash casserole the other day....and then I plugged in pork roast-- didnt get anything back, so...maybe one of those..?
ReplyDeleteI must confess, I come here to find my recipes- you are cute & clever & so funny about being a mom.
Btw- I ended up cooking the pork in Jerk Sauce all day & it was deeelish! I didnt have any sour cream on the day I made the casserole so I substituted it for veggie cream cheese (this I did steal from you :)
How about a classic Julia Child dish like Coq au vin or beef bourguignon? Something savory and dutch oven-y. :-)
ReplyDeleteHow about a fall beverage? A la "pumpkin spice latte". Preferrably with alcohol pleaseeee!
ReplyDeleteI third a mac & cheese. I'm also craving entertaining type food and drink.
ReplyDeleteOOh I like the Julia Child recipe idea....
